We added an exciting new feature to RTPOS today…Email from your RTPOS!

  • SAVE time – customers don’t have to wait as long for invoice to print, ring them up later if needed
  • SAVE paper – go paperless!
  • SAVE trees
  • SAVE customers email for free marketing!  Emailing invoices will entice you to capture their info which can later be used to send mass email blasts.

 

Added Email Module to RT POS

        -Store can configure their own email settings

                With Signature and sample of Gmail configuration (will only use a gmail/google email for now)

                If store did not configure Email, then anywhere they have the Email button will get a message informing them that they must configure and where it can be done.

 

        -During invoicing, when user is about to check out, user has option to "Save & Email" now.

                Email address will be pulled from customer's screen. 

                If email is empty, the use has the option to type the email manually in the email box

 

        -Invoice Change (Re-print) has 'Email' button if user saves/prints and then decides to email receipt.

                Will send to the email address on file, if empty, user has option to enter manually

 

        -Invoice Listing has email button

                Will send to the email address on file, if empty, user has option to enter manually

 

          -Invoice search (double click on invoice listing) has email button

                Will send to the email address on file, if empty, user has option to enter manually

 

        -Reports can now be sent to Email as PDF

                Any report or print out can be sent to Email attached as PDF

                User has option to enter the receipient manually

 

User can enter multiple recipient, such as: support@rtpos.biz,joell@rtpos.biz,ali@rtpos.com,brandon@rtpos.com or support@rtpos.biz;joell@rtpos.biz;ali@rtpos.com;brandon@rtpos.com etc.. can be separated by , or ;

Email Signature always comes up in the Message box and user has option to edit/add to the message.

You may get an error from gmail that looks something like this:



If you get that, you will need to change your gmail settings (see highlighted section)
